This personal project was done in Houdini and rendered with V-ray. I learned a lot about the material fracture node (by pushing it until it breaks, repeatedly) and trying out many different ways of achieving the fractured look that I wanted.
I also struggled a lot with V-ray GPU in RTX mode and found a number of bugs that I reported to the Chaos group dev team. All in all, a really fun time with both artistic and technical aspects of this project.
